Even if the present crises which took the control over our entire country had not neglected the Amărăşti village, the authorithies from this part of our county had also decided to help the floods victims. Even if the people working in administrative sector are the most affected by this crises because their salaries had been reduced with 25%, they decided to join the pain of those which the floods had taken everything they accumulated in their life. In this purpose, they had donated sums of money in the accounts opened with this reason. “We proposed ourselves to try everything so that the pain of this people to be easier. We thought that it wouldn’t have been possible to donate other kind of things because we had no way to transport those things by ourselves which would bring to that situation we seen on tv when bags full of food or clothes were abandoned in the woods and we wouldn’t like that because we realy want to do something for those people!”, said the mayor of this village, Constantin Drăghici. The personal financial contribution of mayor Drăghici to this action consists in a little more than 100 euros. We also want you to remember that it is not the first time when people from Amărăşti village are giving help to floods victims. Going back in time, while the prim minister of Romania was Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, this man has retracted the amounts of money allready given for completing the works at the local Coultural House of Amărăşti, in order to help the victims of the floods from the northern Romania at taht time.
