The last succesful activity which involved the best school from the southern Vâlcea county, Tudor Vladimirescu, and the village Voiceşti, consisted of a partnership intitled ‘Suntem Creştini’, a project to which the school run by teacher Gheorghe Vieru and the Church from Voiceşti had a special contribution. In this activity which started last year and finished this year when the students had left for the summer hollyday, the school Tudor Vladimirescu was reprezented by teacher Mirela Dobriţoiu and the Church from Voiceşti village, by the priest Marian Chivulescu. Education is known as the activity of forming and developing the human being. Religious education must begin from the childhood because without it, the children grows mostly by the natural moral law. It is known the fact that, in the childhood, it is easier to influence a human being and the good things that he/she had learned at that time in life, are available for a lifetime. The partnership between Drăgăşani and Voiceşti, between the school and the church, had a major purpose: that of building the moral and religious character and completing it in the christian personality.

The major objectives:

Between the major objectives of this project, we remarked:

-The knowledge and respecting of the rules of behavior in the society and the developing of the ability of relating with the other people;

-The develope of the pozitive features of will and character and the forming of a pozitive atitude to himself and to the other people;

-Learning the history, geography and religion elements which define the spiritual portret of the romanian people;

-Informing the children about their own faith and about the other faiths and convictions;

-The assuming and sustaining of their own religious identity;

-Eliminating from the children behavior of any kind of violence on religious criteria.

Those who made this partnership possible tried to follow a common agenda which included the followings:

-Visits at the church from Voiceşti;

-The priest and the teacher explained to these children how the Church is organised;

-Assisting at several religious services;

-Making some collages with religious figures (especialy durring the winter holidays and the Easter);

-Organizing some lectures intitled ‘Religia în viaţa elevilor’.

The major activities of this project:

This partnership which had ended once the 2009-2010 school year had got to it’s end, had two major activities, namely:

1. ‘Our behavior defines us in everyone’s eyes’

Durring this activity, the students received questionnaires in which they expressed their opinion on the rules of behaving in school, but also outside the school. There were made some sessions of comunication intitled ‘Behaving rules in the modern society’, durring which, the students made drawings with this theme, drawings that had been posted on their classroom walls. This activity last for three months, between september and november, year 2009, under the direct guidance of teacher Mirela Dobriţoiu and Oana Mihai.

2. ‘Romania’s Holydays’

This activity presumed some actions made in order to forme children’s love for the nice things, for the honesty and for the faith in God: religious lectures, participating at the religious services from the Church of Voiceşti, carols learning etc. This was the longest activity , if we are taking in consideration the fact that it has been done in five months, between december, year 2009 and april, year 2010, under the guidance of the teacher Mirela Dobriţoiu and the priest Marian Chivulescu.
