Râmnic days – a waste of time mark … Romeo Rădulescu

The five days of celebrating the Day of Romanian National Hymn and also the Days of the City of Râmnicu Vâlcea, this year, were lot more monotonous than ever. It is right that this time, people gathered there have missed the imperative style of celebrating imposed by the ex-mayor, Mircia Gutău. A city devastated by the fudge works of the current mayor Romeo Rădulescu, no bands of any kind and the examples of how good Rădulescu is to administrate this city can go on. But we want to say more about those people who came from all around the country to entertain the people of Râmnicu Vâlcea. If these people wouldn’t have came to our city again, we wouldn’t have anything to see this time. We are talking here mainly about mr. Nicolae Sava, a member of Traditional Art Academy, a well known creator of air based musical instruments. We mention here: taragot (a certified invention in 150 states since the year 2000), acarina and acarina for children. He also made some demonstrations for us which you can see on our online tv channel PRO ExpreS tv. He came all the way from Bistriţa County to expose his creations at Râmnicu Vâlcea and he told us that it is a real pleasure for him to come to this event every year. We have also been atracted by the creations exposed by: Vasile Ene from Râmnicu Vâlcea, Mircea Crăciun from Bucharest, Iulia Goran from Breaza (Prahova), Mariana Sicelean from Sibiu, but also the wooden chairs, or the boiler bardy, the folk costumes or the gypsy costumes and a lot of paintings, some on glass, others on paper or even those sculpted in wood. The artisans were, in our opinion, the main attraction of this event, followed closely by the Gabriel Chaborschi fanfare. For those who don’t know much about these kids, we have to tell them that this fanfare has won the first price at Viena, Drăgăşani, Târgu Secuiesc, Galicea and the list may go on. It is the greatest fanfare from the whole Europe because they work all the time hidden from public, so that when the get on stage to be able to give the best, singing without parts and without sound amplification, respecting and perpetuating the traditions…

Mayor Romeo Radulescu made his cult of personality

The mayor Romeo Rădulescu couldn’t stand the sensation of transforming this event into a useless show. So, he came in front of the old cars parade in a convertible yellow Ford with Prahova temporary plates. The only thing that he had not dine was to stand up and salute the people in a communist style. Adding the fact that people of Râmnicu Vâlcea have no real reason to love him much enough to acclaim him. So, it wasn’t the time for him to hope that he will be warmly received by those gathered there to see the cars not him, a suckling mayor. It is very interested that we mention the fact that the crowds invited the mayor Rădulescu to bring the prime minister Emil Boc with him in that car so they could spit him in the face for the way how he runs this country…
