ny Romanian pass these days through a dramatic situation. Their entire life acquisition has been taken by water and they still live with the fear that rains can return anytime. Not an easy time for anyone. Romanians have shown these days an impressive solidarity. People across the country are going to collect aid for these victims of floods. And this also thanks to the press which takes the pulse of affected areas each day. The Democratic Liberal Party from Vâlcea has not remained indifferent and is among those people. We do everything we can, in parallel with government efforts to come to support those affected by flooding. Some of our members sent individual aid to affected localities. PDL Valcea started Friday a county-wide campaign to collect aid for flood victims with the slogan “A bridge over water.” We will concentrate all efforts on Bacău area, which was seriously affected after flooding. Materials of any kind will be collected at the PDL and two tents will be located in the city Rm. We decided that all party MPs, county councilors, presidents of local organizations and national organizations, our mayors and deputy mayors to mobilize to support the people. We will collect and transport to Bacau: building materials, food, drinking water, hygiene products, etc.. Any help, no matter how insignificant it seems, counts when waters have taken everything.
