e history of the Mall from the city of Rm Vâlcea is repeated in Dragasani! PSD’s local advisers have corrected what was to be the worst mistake which the current administration of the municipality, namely the selling of the street behind the Dragasani CityHall. The correction actually consisted of a postponement of the project therefore is only a temporary success. Mayor Cristi Nedelcu is about to make the biggest mistake, for which, in Ramnicu Valcea, for example, even the people who worships the former mayor Mircia Gutau, are convicting him because he mocked a park like the one from behind the Dragasani CityHall, to raise the current mall. So, mayor Nedelcu from Dragasani is on the track to do the same mistake. He told us that this is no longer an area of recreation, as it was transformed into a public toilet. Then, we agree with Nedelcu, but with a little doze of concern from his administration, he could turn that street which now he names ‘a public toilet’ into a green paradise, instead of alienating it by selling it to a guy with hundreds of billions in debt to the Romanian state .. . In fact, we can not understand how may the mayor believe that this firm would bring some profit to the local budget when they have not even paid their taxes to the Romanian State …
For now, the park from the picture above was saved by local councilors. Even if they proved to the world that they are not close to
their mayor when he needs them, the local Social Democrats had saved the park from being leased. The same thing happened with the water tower from the Drăgăşani market. Specifically, the agenda of the last ordinary meeting of the Dragasani Local Council, the mayor Nedelcu proposed to debate a request from individuals who were supposedly able to provide not less than 700,000 euros per mounth at the budget of the wine town. It’s about the litle park behind the Dragasani CityHall. A park which, during the mandate of the former mayor, Gheorghe Iordache, was arranged as possible, meaning that the fowers were washed, the trees were arranged and it was kept clean. Since he had won the election, Mayor Cristi Nedelcu had never taken care of this little oasis of greenery. The cement tables from the town market that have not met the standards were brought by the employees of the Public Service Division (PSD) Dragasani here. One of the owners of companies operating here, Florian Croitoru, claims that he paid several men to move these table fragments thrown into the park at the garbage stores nearby. But the Community policemen had warned him that he risks being fined. Why? It seems, because he had thrown the garbage where the local authorities supposed to thrown it from the start. Unlike him, the local authorities’s interest was to mock this little space for recreation, to be able in the present to say that these green spaces no longer meets the standards and as such would not be a loss if an individual would be allowed to build a commercial complex P+1. Besides that it would destroy a park with great tradition in Dragasani, with only a year ago, the city, by the same mayor in the same area had leased to some other companies for a period of 49 years. People have invested and expanded their production area, the pastry shops and bakeries. So, if this little park will be leased, these investors about which we told you will need to purchase a helicopter in order to assure the supplies for their companies, because the access road will be wiped off the map, as we discovered just by looking at a map which has been submitted to the local councilors as session material. We reffer to the company SC GELY Ltd., a company with tradition and respected by the entire population of the Drăgăşaniului, in pastry, owned by Mr Ion Căpraru, the father of Ilie Căpraru, one of the famous lawyers from Drăgăşani and another company specialized in the production of bread, named SC Alimcom Ltd., owned by Mr Florian Croitoru. Contacted by phone Saturday, right from the spot, the mayor Nedelcu told us that the path will not be affected, despite the fact that the individual who wanted to build over the park and has made clear its intention to fence the property with which will be gifted and even if he will not do so, the complex which will be built is likely to block the access for the other investors.
Alin Pavelescu – the doctor for parks!
Th
e Liberal leader, Dr. Alin Pavelescu (photo) is actually the one who had saved this little park, in a context where the mayor Nedelcu argued that neither can be called a park, because it was turned into a public toilet and that it consists more of concrete than green space, this thing making him look much more like a market. The Liberal leader has done his homework before the council meeting and found out from the Internet that SC DPA PROPERTY INC SRL Bucharest has debts to the romanian state which gather over 200 miliards lei .
